This course help me learn to make connections with professionals in the field, learn about different tasks, populations and settings of interpreting as well as explore internship options. This course also focuses on skills such as: demonstrating my commitment to the profession, planning/preparation for assignments, identifying the benefits and challenges of different settings, and begin work on my e-portoflio in preparation for beginning my career.
