Videotaping team interpreting work
If you were to videotape items of interest to analyze their work how would you select the teams? I think we would see a variety of good teamwork and awful teamwork. We could see teams comparing each other or judging. We also could see teams feeding each other. I also think one thing we would see if that interpreter would be on their phone during the off time.
What are the main areas of team interpret that you would want to interpret? I think higher education or community work.

Surveying interpreted
If you were to do a national survey of open-ended questions about team interpreting to send to randomly selected certified interpreters, what steps would you take to conduct the survey? I would make sure It was for all levels of certification. I would ask interpreters from VRS, education, and community interpreting.
What are some questions about team interpreting you would want to ask in the survey? How long have you been certified? Do you work full time or part time? Did you attend an ITP? How did you learn sign language? Do you have a degree? What are your future goals as an interpreter?

Investigating team interpreting
What did you appreciate about the way the two studies were done, and what do you wish have been done differently? I wish that the video take included the after discussion of the interpreters. I wish the survey included more questions such as education.
Which research questions for study #1 (the videotape) are you the most interferes in finding out more about? What do you expect the grinding to reveal? When looking at the graph when the teams were put together. I noticed they were put together close to how many years they have worked. I would like to see a longer interpreter working with a newer interpret. Age always seems to add contention or not a good team. I expect this to go well. Their conversations at the start possibly don’t include a lot of detail about how they should work together.
Which research questions for study #2 (the survey) are you the most interpreters in finding out more about? What do you expect the findings to reveal? I expected the findings to be more educated and have the help of the RID standard paper. I wished there were more specific of where they worked with a team. What type of topic or setting.
What research question, if any, were not pursued in these studies that you would like to explore more? I would like to find out more about education. If they learned proper teamwork in workshops or classes. I think this would help interpreters to be aware of getting more education also to find out if some were educated about team interpreting.
