3.name three components of the teaming process that you want to keep in your mind? Pre-season, during the interpreting and post the post session.
- Name three key components of form that you want to keep foremost in your mind. The collaboration and the interpret dependently and lastly the processing.

Collaborating beforehand: The pre-session
- Identify two features that you tend to think about as you prepare for an interpreting assignment when you work alone. I would say jargon and the client need.
- Which of the information feed or other teaming strategies do you think are important for the team to discuss before hand? You need to discuss how you accept a feed. Is it a sentence or a word. Ask how they process and which part they want the feed during the process. How they are going to work as a team and when to switch off.
- What is the best way to discuss modality and language use in pre-session? Right, when you arrive ask how they want. If you haven’t tried their way be flexible and they can be flexible as well. Talk about strengths and weaknesses.
- Explain how interpret decide where to position themselves and explain with whom the interpreter may consult about this decision? Talk about environmental demands and what would happen. Ask what the client possible prefers. Decide what is the best for your physical self.

What is meant: The source language
- Come up with an example of an interesting or challenging utterance that was said during an interpreting assignment and for that utterance identify the following the content, speaks goal, and social meaning. What level or level meaning are more prominent in determining the speaker’s intent? I think the most important is the speaker’s goal. This always can overcome the other ideas. Their goal will match up with content. Then making sure you can change the cultural meaning. Talk about different behaviors that could come up is great. Effect and meaning are always to keep in mind as well.
- As an interpret that re certain features that are presented what do you need to focus on the most? I would have to say the effect. Making sure this is matching the speakers this will help with everything else that is in place.
- Which of these features lend themselves to more collaboration guiding the pre-session and which of the lend themselves more to collaborating and during the interpretation? The interpreter needs to understand ASL. They need to understand the speaker’s goal and meaning. The content or some simple thing you miss could be feed during the interpretation. You need to understand the overall dynamics that are happening. The team is there to help improve you and make sure the message is there. Also to be aware that the goal is being interpreted correctly.

The team interpreting model
- Identify two or three aspects of the team interpreting model present in the chapter you would like to further explore. I would say the pre-session the collaborating part. If I explore this more my whole team and work will be more successful. If you set it up correctly and make have good communication with your team. I feel that sets up all the expectations.
- If you were to reach her and are of team interpreter what would you choose to research? I would say on straight with competing with egos. During the middle of the interpretation, it talks about the making decision and strategies to each. If interpreters are on the same page about some simple strategist this would help the processing go so much smoother.

Chapter 1: Teaming Interpreting: Defining What We Do- This is a great way to know the old and new ways of teaming. Some interpreters have been working for years and some also work with people differently.
Chapter 2: Investigating Team Interpreting: I think we understand what is required of a team and what we want in a team.
Chapter 3: Effective Interpreting Teams: It’s great to know what is successful in a team and what is not. Seeing things that are discussed in teams and not.
Chapter 4: The Pre-session- THis helps you know what to talk about before the assignment.
Chapter 5: Strategies for Feeding Information- Each person has different expectations in feeds.
Chapter 6: Other Teaming Strategies- Knowing that there is not just one way of a team. There are many strategies.
Chapter 7: Modality and Language Usage- This is talking about what languages to use in the pre-session.
Chapter 8: Different Team, Different Working Styles: We are all unique and different interpreters.
Chapter 9: Achieving and Maintaining Collaboration and Interdependence: Understanding there is a difference in working along and not.
Chapter 10: A team Interpreting Model: Collaboration and Interdependence at Work: There is a model in the book that is a great way to follow if you are struggling I know what working with a team is.
